Great experience there today. The staff was super friendly, the place was clean to white-glove-military standards, the nurses knew what they were doing, and lastly, all of the blood donations go to US Soldiers. Other blood centers in the area (yes, you, Carter Blood Care) should come here and take notes; this is how this type of establishment needs to be run.
As far as the other review stating that they take too much blood, they use one-pint bags - that's the standard - that's what you agreed to donate - the bags can only take up to one pint - no more - unless it's spilling on the floor - which it wasn't - because they aren't careless - and they're not amateurs - they're the United States Army.
EXCELLENT! This hidden gem gives you the opportunity to do something great for so many people! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They make the entire experience so easy and fun.
You are given some snacks after you give blood to help your body recover in a very nice little lounge area, and I walked away with a shirt showing the cool thing I did that day! I have given blood many times, but never felt more relaxed and valued as a donor than when I was here.
